Istikhara
Seeking Allah’s guidance for making the best life decisions.

Istikhara
Istikhara means asking Allah for guidance when we are unsure about a decision. It is a special dua and prayer that helps a Muslim choose what is best for them in this world and the Hereafter.
Istikhara is done when there are two (or more) possible outcomes, and we are not sure which one to choose.
For example, if someone is unsure whether to accept a job offer or not, or whether to marry someone or wait, they can pray Istikhara.
Why Do We Do Istikhara?
- To ask Allah for guidance when we are confused or unsure.
- To choose what is best for our religion, life, and future.
- To avoid harm and difficulties in decisions we may not understand fully.
To show our trust in Allah’s wisdom and knowledge.
Istikhara is not about dreams or magical signs — it’s about putting your trust in Allah, doing your best, and moving forward with what becomes easy and peaceful.
